What permits are needed in Texas to install a new Septic System?
A permit is required to install a septic system in Texas and they can be required by your city and your county of residence. The Legislature, in the Health and Safety Code, designates the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) or its Authorized Agent to investigate and decide whether to approve a permit request.
